Of course, everyone is looking for the best price for in Long Island, but many don’t realize they may not be comparing apples to apples when they shop around.
A quote sometimes comes with hidden costs such as:
Bait & Switch
It is not uncommon for Long Island companies to use what’s called “bait and switch” pricing, meaning they offer you a very low price in the expectation they’ll sell you more when they get to you.
High-Pressure Upsells
Some companies offer their technician a sales commission. If they’re not able to upsell you, they may be in a hurry to get to the next job to make more money, and your cleaning suffers.
Additional Fees
Finally, though rare, some companies may tack on unexpected fees to your final bill, again making your initial quote appear really low.
